Brooklyn homes hold some of the most interesting carpets we see: Persian and Caucasian pieces that came down through families, flat-woven kilims, and contemporary rugs in renovated brownstones and lofts. The Morgan Ave studio is where those pieces are received and assessed; the work itself is carried out at our Williston Park workshop or in your home, depending on what the piece needs.

Greenpoint and Williamsburg clients can drop a rug off at the studio during business hours; from there we handle pickup and delivery across Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick, and out to Bay Ridge and Ditmas Park.

Every treatment begins with photographs and a written condition report, so you can see exactly what is proposed before any wool is touched, the same conservation standard we apply to every piece.

Where the work is done depends on the piece and what it needs. Cleaning, repair and restoration are carried out at our Williston Park workshop or in your home, and our Greenpoint studio in Brooklyn is there for city clients to bring a piece in and meet us.

Workshop rug cleaning takes about two weeks on average; every rug is different, and any repairs needed will extend that time.
